Alexandra has just bought a Victorian house but as she starts to remodel it Alexandra begins to have the dreams again. After 10 years she had thought that they were gone. At twenty-seven years old she has a good job and a beautiful house so why have these dreams started again? Beautiful and strong willed she finds a way to summon the monsters of her dreams. Little does she know that they are not monsters at all.
Kasdeya is not only a fallen angel but also a prince. Brother to Shaitan the high prince of Hell. Kasdeya despises all mortals but it seems he must call to Alexandra to help him. He decides to use her and move on but it only takes one time with Alexandra to lose his heart.
When an ex husband of one of the woman living in the shelter that Alexandra works at attacks her at her house she needs help. Kasdeya knows he is just what she needs. As the two begin a shaky relationship they must learn to trust one another. Kasdeya must not alert the Powers that he is there. If they know they will come after him and surely kill any mortal that has associated with him. Kasdeya must decide just what his feelings are for Alexandra are. When Shaitan arrives to complicate matters more the mayhem begins.
I truly enjoyed this book. It is a hot read with a fast paced storyline that keeps you glued to the pages from the very beginning. All the characters were full of depth and feeling. I loved the brooding sexuality of both Kasdeya and Shaitan. Alexandra is a great heroine full of spirit and loyalty. Both Kasdeya and Alexandra stand by each other no matter what. If you enjoy stories with strong willed heroines and the men they love you will enjoy this book.
