Review Application Process
This is the process you will need to follow to be reviewed on this site.
TO GET REVIEWED
Would you like to get your book or Author reviewed by HowlingGoodBooks? It is simple! Send the following to us and we will make it available for the reviewers to choose:
- Title
- Genre
- Blurb
- ISBN
- and the Book in PDF or HTML format
We would also appreciate any extra information such as;
- Print release date
- EBook release date
- Where EBook is available- i.e. Amazon, B&N, Publishers site only
- What file types the EBook is available in.
The reviewers for HGB are volunteering for this site; and therefore have the availability to choose from the titles themselves. Please give us roughly 6-8 weeks to review and reply. Our reviewers vary from seasoned reviewers, editors, and other professional backgrounds. However, if there are special circumstances for the review- i.e. the release date is sooner than the allotted time frame, let us know and we will do our best to help meet those goals.
Once a book has been reviewed, we will contact you with an assessment of when the review will be placed on the site and the rating. We will not withhold a review if the rating does not meet your expectations. Our reviewers spend their time reading and giving a thoughtful review for this work. They therefore deserve to have their work available to the public as well.
Our rating system is as follows-

1 being the lowest; did not catch the imagination of the reviewer

2 It did not meet the expectations of the reviewer

3 being average; enjoyed the book

4 very well done; was really well recieved, fullfilled all expectations

5 outstanding book; it opened the imagination and stayed in the mind well after the book was over.
A rating of 3 is NOT a bad rating. It is an average rating. When you do something there must be an average of it to be able to find greatness. The ratings given are of the reviewers own opinion. If you do not like the reviewer’s opinion, we apologize; however, we do not allow multiple reviews of the same book; except when requested prior to original review or when multiple reviewers are interested in high profile books and series; i.e. Twilight or a series such as Anita Blake series or if it is a YA and has a PRYA addition . If you DO wish for a multiple review- we will post all of the reviews at the same time.
